Getting to House Jelka is easier than you might think

Whether you’re arriving by plane, by car, or combining bus, ferry and a short transfer, reaching House Jelka is surprisingly straightforward.

Supetar is well connected, and once you arrive, everything is within walking distance.

 

By plane

The nearest airport is Split (SPU). From there:

  1. Take the airport shuttle bus directly to Split ferry port (approx. 30 minutes).

  2. Hop on the ferry to Supetar (approx. 50 minutes).

Good to know about the ferry:

  • Book tickets in advance via the m Jadrolinija app to skip queues

  • Boarding starts about 30 minutes before departure

  • Your ticket is valid for the whole day (not just one departure)

  • In high season, expect some waiting time (only for cars!)

From the port in Supetar, it’s a 5 minute walk to House Jelka.

By car

Travelling by car is an easy option, especially if you want to stay flexible on the island. Drive to Split ferry port and take the Jadrolinija car ferry to Supetar. The crossing takes around 50 minutes.

Good to know:

  • In high season, it’s smart to arrive at the port with some buffer time.

  • Tickets can be booked in advance via the Jadrolinija app.

  • Once in Supetar, House Jelka is only a short drive away. 

  • Street parking in front of House Jelka is limited. Arrange parking with us ahead of your stay

By bus or train

If you’re travelling without a car, House Jelka is still easy to reach.

The most common route is by train or long-distance bus to Split. There are many connections via Flixbus. The ferry to Supetar departs right in front of the train staton / bus terminal. Once you arrive, you can walk to House Jelka.

By ferry

If you’re already in Split, the ferry to Supetar is the final and easiest step. The crossing takes around 50 minutes and brings you directly to Brač’s main town. From the port in Supetar, House Jelka is only a short walk away.
